Provided
a UI design analysis of the navigational system, highlighting usability
issues of the customized version of the My Benefits module.
Created
UI design recommendations via an inforamational design mock-up for
My Pay's Pay Statement, an internet based representation of a Pay
Stub.
Through
Research & Analysis of existing internal development practices
and a review of the new RUP processes, provided upper management
with detailed documentation of an over arching development process.
The purpose of the document was to increase productivity & efficiency
through a strategic broadening of team communications, establishing
pertinent milestone points and identification of required deliverables,
including a change order management system.
Provided
a UI Design Analysis of the existing internal portal (Schweb.com)
and strategic recommendations for long term and overview approach
to design & development for corporate consideration.
Earned
Certificate of Completion for
RUP training (Rational Unified Process fundamentals). The course
was an introduction to the creation of a unified design & development
process for the corporate arena focusing primarily on Project Management
of $2 million projects and above.

a customized UI Methodology Training Session for the product development
team. Invited by the Director of Product Marketing.
Purpose:
To educate the team on the importance of collaboration in analysis
and problem solving during the various stages of UI Design development;
An understanding on how to incorporate visual design into the process;
Team dynamics and communications; Setting of milestones; Design
Management & design hiring consultation.
Results:
Based on the training session, the company altered their route on
how to move forward with their product development approach.

Review:
Research, Analysis,
Requirements Review, Identification of Audience and Users. Collaborative
process with Client (Minimum: Engineering/Programming & Product Development
Leads).
Phase
II

Development I:
UI Design Storyboards.
B&W Schematics used to map out the Information Architecture &
Navigation System flow. Goal of this phase is to create the blueprint
for an intuitive, user-friendly User Interface. Presentation to Client.

III

Development II:
Visual Design.
Color Screen representations of main navigational and functional screens.
Different visual styles to be presented to target key direction. Seamless
design integration is our goal during this phase. Presentation to Client.

Development:
Graphic Production,
Asset management & html design templates of site in Dreamweaver including
light Javascript rollovers. Art Direction & Design Management are
a key part of this Phase to ensure accurate implementation.
