Reported to Executive Producer. Provided Design Direction and Leadership for complete navigational re-structuring of Intuit.com, Centralized Tech Support and numerous sub-sites. Goal was to foster consistency between main product groups creating a universal user experience for all Intuit Tech support customers. This effort was awarded 2 of the 10 Best Web Support Sites for 1999 by the Association of Support Professionals and Soft Letter, Danvers, MA.

This was an environment built on consumer brand recognition of individual products (Quicken, Quickbooks, TurboTax, ProSeries) versus a singular company image. Initiated first UI design template system to aid in future scalability & maintenance of site and new subsites. Managed team of in-house designers and third party vendors.

In 1997, company was ranked "One of top 3 creative interactive firms in the world" by AdAge Magazine.

Reported to Tom Nicholson of this pioneering multimedia studio (now IconNicholson).
Primary Project: Managed & Designed UI navigational and information structure for Thomas Register of American Manufacturers, a large scale product search engine. Collaborated with Engineers in Boston and in-house. Served as primary client contact to capture and communicate requirements. Extended initial 3 month contract to multiple contracts, eventually bringing in $250,000 in revenues in 1 year. Developed project budgets & schedules, consulted producers on design processes and resource allocation.

Developed concepts, information design storybards and written analysis. Directed team in overall look & feel of site based on Client needs, technical considerations, and testing on all browsers & platforms. Managed team of in-house designers and member of Sr. Management responsible for hiring new talent.

Other Projects: Major League Baseball - provided Design Management on tight schedule; Reader's Digest - Provided navigation consultation; IBM - provided navigaional test run insights during early stage of development.

Responsible for all aspects of film development & production. Produced several short films, projected budgets and managed all costs for cast & crew. All my films were shot on or under very tight budgets. I tend to have a focused, frugal shooting ratio of 3 to 1. This was achieved through concentrated time in pre-production and pre-visualization, to maximize efficiency during editing and post production. A valuable business lesson that has served me well throughout my career.

Winning Project - the Dialect Mirror. Our team represented New York University, Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), a program pioneered by Red Burns. Our team of 6 worked from January to July under the guidance of Prof. Sergio Canetti, to create a product which was an integration of software and hardware design dealing with audio. Our diverse disciplines provided our team with a multi-perspective edge in problem solving. Our targeted customers were acting professionals and students in the NYC vicinity.
