The Urban Peacock User Interface Design Process is a simple and proven methodology based on 11 years of use in conceptualizing and managing the UI design wing of product development builds of highly complex internet applications. No matter which technologies are being utilized these basic steps will ensure that your project runs smoothly and on budget. Below is a high level overview.

Phase I - Site Analysis
Preliminary Review - assesing development terrain. Research, Analysis, Requirements Review, Identification of Audience and Users. Collaborative process with Client (Minimum: Engineering & Product Development Leads).

Phase II - Design Development I
UI Design Storyboards - creating informational order. B&W schematics used to map out the Information Architecture, Navigation System flow & Content Strategy. Presentation to Client.

Phase III - Design Development II
Visual Design - creating functional elegance. Color screen visualizations of main Navigational and Functional screens to establish branding. Seamless Technical and Aesthetic integration. Presentation to Client.

Phase IV - Site Development
HTML design - primary style templates in Dreamweaver. Graphic Production & Asset Management. Art Direction & Design Management to ensure accurate implementation.

Review PeopleSoft PSBN Case Study utilizing this design methodology.
