April
8, 2004 (notes):
I
am bouncing back & forth between the two mediums as I seek out
a sense of peace and truth in the midst of all things digital and
the layers of artificial realities.
I began the creative adventure by sketching the lyrical nature of
light on my canvas. Soon I was prompted to scribble a poem based
on the power of the drawing... to capture that moment of emotion
and time in it's purity of form.
About
an hour later I went to the nearby computer and translated the pencil
scrawls from my sketchbook to digital form. I feel as if I've entered
a new realm of contemplation. I look forward to exploring this latest
melting of mediums in the coming months.
