Bali began painting seriously in 2002. Prior to her painting career, Bali was working in NYC and Silicon Valley in the field of User Experience Architecture where she focused on Information Architecture, Navigation Design and Creative Direction for Product Applications.

Bali's involvement in the Interaction Design scene dates back to the early days of the Internet. In 1994, she was studying for her MFA in Film at New York University before her curiosity took her down a fresh path. Bali earned her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and thrives in environments where learning is a constant state of being.

She enjoys collaborating with maverick engineers and artists in creating joyous environments where exploration and imagination are the roots of goodness within communities.

A true idealist, Kavita is excited to continue her creative journey as it leads her towards unexpected possibilties in Portland, OR.
